AsianArts Agency, Bristol is an arts development agency that develops, promotes and supports international contemporary and traditional South Asian arts in the South West and across the UK. We were delighted to work with them as Co-Producers for Antara.
Chandni Chowk specialises in textiles, hand made in India and Bangladesh by wonderfully skilled crafts people to a very high quality. They are a fair trade company making them natural partners for the Antara production. They hosted Ajeesh K Balakrishnan as Artist in Residence at their Custom House outlet on Exeter's Quay in summer 2013.
Exeter Natural Health Centre offer a wide range of complementary treatments, classes and training opportunities from a team of highly professional, experienced therapists and teachers. Their beautiful city centre premises provide spacious, light and airy rooms and a professional yet comfortable environment. Exeter Natural Health Centre was founded in 2001 and has since then enjoyed a reputation as a centre of excellence here in Devon and the South West, for integrated medicine and professional training. We were delighted to welcome them as Gifting Partners for the holistically-themed, Antara.
Sound Gallery Studios is a professional recording studio based at Exeter Phoenix, specialising in high-end sound production and design, soundscapes, voice-overs, music to film, pre- and post-production, recording, mastering and quality audio resources for artists, musicians, educational institutions and commercial businesses. We were grateful to be able to record the Antara sound-scape with them at a Gift rate.
Interwoven Productions worked in partnership with Pluss, a Social Enterprise that supports thousands of disabled people each year to achieve work and a career. Pluss participants greatly enhanced the authenticity of Severance by providing their own stories to inform the performance and for use in the soundtrack.
We are also grateful to St Loyes Foundation, Exeter who provide learning and training support for those in need, for their participant support and sponsorship. We look forward to working with them again.
